1. Investing Involves Risk of Loss

Every investment carries the risk of loss, including the possibility of losing your entire investment. Past performance of any property or the Dubai real estate market generally is not a guarantee of future results.

2. Real Estate Market Risk

Property values can fall as well as rise, driven by local market conditions, interest rates, oversupply, and macroeconomic factors outside AssetSlices' control. A property's valuation on the Platform reflects a point-in-time estimate, not a guaranteed sale price.

3. Illiquidity Risk

Slices are not listed on a public stock exchange. Reselling a slice depends on finding a buyer on the AssetSlices marketplace and is subject to any applicable holding-period lock-up. You should be prepared to hold your investment for an extended period, and there is no guarantee you'll be able to sell when you want to.

4. Dividend & Rental Income Risk

Monthly distributions come from a property's net rental income (rent collected minus operating expenses) and are not fixed or guaranteed. Vacancy, unexpected repairs, tenant non-payment, or rising expenses can reduce or eliminate a given month's distribution.

5. Blockchain & Technology Risk

Slice ownership is recorded using blockchain technology. This introduces risks distinct from traditional investing, including smart contract vulnerabilities, network congestion or outages, and the general risk of any software system.
